Looking for a resource that can work in the manufacturing engineering group to evaluate production machinery (CNC’s, manual machining centers, custom equipment, etc) to determine critical spare parts that need to be kept on hand so failures do not cause the line to go down for an extended period of time.

Scope of Activity

• Determine current inventory in stock for each machine
• Review recommended spare parts from manufacturer - some were never ordered - also verify current part numbers vs legacy numbers
• Recommend additional parts to have on hand from historical downtime events and parts that are not stocked at the manufacturer for 24-hour turnaround time

What is needed

• Experience with activities listed in the scope of activity section
• Experience using and placing orders in SAP
